Liveblogging the SOTU Speech
I am getting hoarse from yellin "Bullshit" at the radio. Just now he's trying to be nice to small businesses. Didn't get as much applause as his proposals of big .gov programs. Clean, energy, rapid rail, yawn.
Now he says tax breaks for firms who keep jobs at home. About time. No mention of health care, so far, at 31 minutes after the hour. He said "Housing bubble and financial speculation". Small applause for that. Every time he says something right, no or small applause. Every time he says what the Left likes, lotsa applause.
"Serious financial reform". Yah, sure. Maybe he means it. Very little applause.
Basic research in energy. Very little applause.
Safe clean nuclear power plants: Applause! Yay!
Offshore oil and gas. Applause! Yay!
Clean energy: some applause.
Export more of our goods: some applause.
National Export initiative: not much applause.
Enforcing our trading partners play by the rules. Yah, sure.
Invest in skills in education of our people. Reward success. Yah, sure.
We will expand these reforms to all fifty states. God help us.
Ten thousand dollar tax credit to further inflate college costs. Mentioned reducing college tuition costs;, very little applause.
At last at 9:44, "we still need health insurance reform." Lots of applause.
Michelle is tacklin childhood obesity. Oh, wonderful.

"tightening belts, the FedGov should do the same." Nice,if he means it.

"We can't wage a perpetual campaign!" Bwahhahaha!
"Just saying no to everything is not leadership." Sometimes sayin "no" is the right thing to say.

Seeks a world without nukes, reduce our stockpiles. Uhh, nope.
Secure all vulnerable nuke material in four years. Yah, sure.
Sanctions being vigorously enforced. Umm?

Now he's on the platitudes. Heavily. Our ideals. Incredible Diversity. Prosecuting non-existent civil rights violations, and non-existent hate crimes. Homos in the Army. Equal pay for non-equal work.
Fix immigration laws. I don't believe him for a minute.
Immigrants from every corner of the globe. Excuse me, the country was founded by British Protestants.

Hi,
Just followed you back to your blog.
All I can say on what I just read is well at least we should compare our radios from all the hot air that the "Community Organizer" expells every time his voice is coming out of the speaker. I think mine is melted from the "Blow-heart".
