Awww!
I met a very cute sweety-pie of a kitteh today. I was walking along the street on which I live, to the 7-11 to buy some beer, when I noticed a small cat looking at me from one of the neighbors'front yard. I squatted down, inviting the kitty to approach, and he did not walk, but ran toward me!
After he jumped me, I of course fell over sideways in the street to invite him to play, which he did, and sniffed all over me. We made friends with each other instantaneously. This guy is a 100% black kitten, who might almost go 2 pounds, soaking wet. Oh, yeah, he is an obvious Tomkitten. I hope his human lets him keep his balls.
Well, anyway, I told the kitten that I had to proceed, and he being a kitten, wanted to follow me. That could not end well, so I took him to my breast and knocked on the door of his human's house. I asked that human to take her kitty inside, for his safety, while I went on my way. She agreed to do that. I do hope to meet that cat again. He is a real sweety-pie.

Y'all won't believe this. I was walking back from the 7-11 just now with housemate and the sweety-pie ran out to greet us. His human was there, and I asked his name. She answered, "Pixel." And no, it seems she's never heard of Heinlein.
I am sorry to have to report, that that cute sweety-pie of an all-black tomkitten has been missing in action for about a week now. His happy-go-lucky antics happened to co-incide with a dang-near- freezing cold snap here in Southern Florida, with extra wind chill. I hate to blame his human, but I do think she was careless seeing as how he would take up with anyone or anybody. Mebbe she should have let him grow up spme more before she let him out.
That's sad, JTG. We have a tuxedo kitty who occasionally greets us on our neighborhood walks - makes me miss my little furball (who looked a lot like him). He's a big boy (neutered) who steers away from cars, thankfully, so he should be good.
Maybe it's not the humans fault. If it is Pixel what door at wall or lock could stop her.
Hmmm...
Him Joshkie, Him! I met that kitty. He had tomcat balls.
